Bean goose

The bean goose (Anser fabalis), like the whooper swan, can be photographed where the first frost-free spots emerge in rivers and creeks in the spring. Feeding the birds makes photographing relatively easy in the spring. Along with the bean goose, other birds such as the whooper swan (Gygnus gygnus) and the common goldeneye (Bucephala clangula) can be photographed.

Photographing the bean goose later on in the summer is somewhat more challenging, however on a quiet location with feeding it is possible to ensure frequent visits by this species.
